Withum’s team offers the government contractor industry numerous services, allowing our firm to be your comprehensive provider for audit and consulting services. These services include:
The audit is performed in accordance with the appropriate regulations and often in accordance with Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book) or possibly may include a Single Audit, previously known as the OMB Circular A-133 audit. A Single Audit is an organization-wide financial statement and federal awards’ audit of a non-federal entity that expends $750,000 or more in federal funds in one year.
We work with our clients to ensure that systems are in place to document all that is required to be documented.
Federal contracting agencies often will require an “Accounting System Certification” to be submitted within 60 to 90 days of receipt of an award. At times, Pre-award Surveys may also be required.
We provide the program and financial reporting training necessary to assist your company with reporting in an accurate, current and complete manner.
In lieu of or sometimes in addition to this, an indirect cost rate is a preferred method of allocating costs to a contract. We assist our clients with both cost allocation plans and indirect cost rates.
Should the case or dispute move to the level of an administrative law judge, we have the experience and specialized experts to guide our clients through the intricacies of the judicial system.
The effect of not meeting the required match can be costly and thus deserves the appropriate attention.
