His expertise in performing cost segregation studies is in many industries and property types, including office, banking and medical buildings, apartments, hotels and resorts, restaurants and grocery stores, retail and shopping centers, distribution and manufacturing facilities, wineries, and automobile dealerships. Martin has previously consulted with numerous Fortune 500 companies.

Martin is a published author of several articles on cost segregation and has been quoted in the Practice Accountant Magazine and has spoken at several conferences on cost segregation. Throughout his career, he has worked for and with the “Big 4” and other national accounting firms along with national consulting firms while providing cost segregation and appraisal related services.

Martin has completed Building Construction Estimating and Blueprint Reading at UCLA, Construction Management Courses at Milwaukee School of Engineering, Construction Estimating Courses at Michigan State and Dale Carnegie Business Course, and he is a member of the American Association of Cost Engineers.
