Tarun Arora is a quality control principal with over 25 years of experience in audit, assurance and regulatory matters. Tarun specializes in Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) with a focus on automation, technology risk and controls.
Tarun’s depth of expertise comes from over 15 years at the PCAOB, leading teams of IT audit inspectors and overseeing inspections of SEC-registered issuer audits across public accounting firms, including the Big Four. His experience spans evaluating cybersecurity controls and assessing firms’ quality control systems related to the design and deployment of software-based audit tools used in internal control and substantive testing.
He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New York, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and holds a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.
