Jose Antunes serves as Chief Utilization Officer at Withum, overseeing the Utilization Management Team.
He is responsible for ensuring that professional staff throughout the Firm operate efficiently and effectively. With over 30 years of experience in both public and private sectors, Jose specializes in all aspects of accounting, including operations.
He plays a key role in advancing the Firm’s internal technology initiatives by researching, testing and implementing firmwide software solutions. He also leads staff training on core applications and procedures and contributes to other Firm initiatives through advisory boards and committees.

Jose is actively involved in giving back to his community. He volunteers at a local Catholic high school where he assists with set construction for the theater program and has previously served on the board of directors for the New Jersey March of Dimes.
Jose has shared his expertise as a speaker for organizations, including the AICPA and NJCPA, on topics impacting accounting firms both nationally and globally.
Jose resides in Toms River, New Jersey, with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he is an avid runner and enjoys Formula One racing, watching sports and playing golf.
