Ryan Brandt is a Tax Partner with over 15 years of experience in tax planning and compliance issues, Ryan is a member of the Firm’s Cannabis and Private Client Services Teams, in which he focuses on closely-held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. He has extensive experience with federal and multi-state tax issues, and has represented clients in state and IRS examinations. Whether it’s answering questions, offering explanations, giving advice, generating ideas, or providing guidance on specific subjects, Ryan supports clients to make informed decisions, learn, solve problems, and accomplish their financial objectives.

Ryan is responsible for identifying and resolving tax and business issues and opportunities, as well as overseeing tax compliance on federal and state matters. Ryan is a valuable resource for tax planning for businesses (mainly partnerships and S-Corporations) and individuals.

Ryan is a member of Withum’s Fellowship Training Program, working with team members to share his knowledge and ensure the seamless continuation of his practice with incoming classes of staff. He also serves as a Treasurer and Board Member of a neighborhood HOA.

Work Hard/Play Hard

Outside of the office, Ryan engages in outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, gardening, snowboarding and boating on the lake, as well as woodworking. Above all, he enjoys spending quality time with his three sons.
