Farrukh Alimov leads the Firm’s West Coast Financial Reporting Valuation Services Team. With more than 15 years of experience in valuation, finance and public accounting, he specializes in ASC 820 portfolio valuations, ASC 815 hedge advisory and forecasting and financial modeling services.
He advises clients on complex securities, portfolio valuations, mergers and acquisitions, hedge programs and risk management strategies, strengthening the valuation governance and reporting transparency that strategic decisions rest on. He works with both alternative asset managers and strategic investors across technology-driven and intellectual property-intensive industries on transaction advisory, due diligence and financial modeling.
Farrukh works closely with Firm leadership to develop and expand strategic service offerings across valuation, risk advisory and financial analytics. He has played a key role in building specialized capabilities from the ground up, helping establish scalable platforms, methodologies and service delivery models that support the evolving needs of private equity, venture capital and corporate clients.
Prior to joining the Firm, Farrukh worked at two Big Four accounting firms and a leading venture capital firm, specializing in portfolio valuations, complex securities, private equity and venture capital operations and financial reporting for funds with assets ranging from $2 billion to $40 billion.
