Peggy has more than 25 years of accounting and auditing experience with a focus on interpreting and applying technical accounting and auditing standards and independence matters. She services public and private entities in various industries including manufacturing, distribution, construction, professional services, software, and employee benefit plans.
Additionally, she has over 20 years of experience performing technical and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with accounting and auditing professional standards. She develops and presents accounting and auditing professional education classes for internal and national audiences. Peggy has authored articles on technical accounting and auditing topics appearing in professional publications, Withum eblasts, various website and AICPA, PCAOB, and FASB comment letters on proposed accounting standards. She provides technical accounting and consulting support to public and private entities on revenue recognition, financial reporting and other accounting matters.
Peggy is a Certified Public Accountant and received her BS in accounting, magna cum laude, from Fairfield University. She is the Past Chair of the Accounting and Auditing Interest Group for the New Jersey Society of CPA's and received the NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business Award in 2013. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, sits on the NJCPA Professional Conduct Committee, NJCPA Accounting and Auditing Interest Group, Chair of Auditing Standards Subcommittee and has been a member of both the NJCPA Professional Conduct Committee and the NJCPA Accounting and Auditing Interest Group, Chair of Accounting Standards Subcommittee.
