Get to Know Me

Amanda McKenna is a Tax Partner with two decades of experience in the alternative investments industry, leading Withum’s Financial Services Tax practice.

She specializes in providing tax compliance and consulting services for venture capital, private equity, and hedge funds. Her primary focus is on partnership structures, including stand-alone entities, master-feeder structures, offshore funds, fund of funds, management companies, and general partner entities across various asset classes.  

Amanda has a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding fund structures and brings an invaluable approach to her clients’ tax planning. She provides practical solutions to complex tax issues and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their investment goals while minimizing tax liabilities. 

Amanda is experienced in working with both domestic and international investment funds and advises on various structuring options to determine the best tax efficiency and impact on U.S. and non-U.S. limited partners.  

Amanda is often seen attending and presenting at industry conferences to assist her clients and team in navigating the ever-changing landscape.
