As a partner based in our New York office, Al has more than 30 years of professional accounting experience. He is a licensed certified public accountant in New York, New Jersey, and California and assists clients on both coasts. Specializing in accounting and auditing services for individuals and privately-held entities, he has specific expertise in the real estate and professional service industries. He is the Audit Services Practice Leader in the firm’s Real Estate Services Group, as well as chair of the firm’s Audit CPE committee. Mr. Erdmann also serves as an Engagement Partner (EP) and Engagement Quality Reviewer (EQR) on Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACS). He is dedicated to educating businesses and individuals on the ever-evolving landscape within the accounting industry.
Mr. Erdmann received his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting & information systems and economics as well as a master’s degree in accounting from Queens College of the City University of New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA and NJCPA). Al is a frequent speaker at various industry seminars and a former adjunct lecturer of accounting at Queens College.
