Fatema Raza is a partner and Practice Leader for the Firm’s Real Estate Team with more than 15 years of experience serving clients across the real estate, financial services and capital markets industries.
She advises real estate developers, owners, operators, investors, REITs, private equity funds and construction companies on audit and accounting matters, financial reporting, operational strategy and complex transactions. Her experience spans a broad range of real estate asset classes and includes advising clients on acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, joint ventures and capital raising activities.
Complementing her real estate expertise, Fatema has extensive experience serving private equity and venture capital funds, lending companies, SPACs and public companies. She advises organizations on SEC reporting, regulatory compliance and disclosure requirements, drawing on deep knowledge of securities laws and capital markets.
As Real Estate Practice Leader, she helps clients navigate evolving market conditions, improve operational performance and pursue growth opportunities while also mentoring and developing the next generation of professionals at Withum.
Fatema is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New Jersey.
