James Ferrare Named on Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor List

Jim Ferrare was named to this year’s 2021 Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list by Forbes for the fourth year in a row. The list spotlights the top-performing wealth advisors across the country. Each state’s list is determined by SHOOK research, an algorithm based on qualitative and quantitative criteria including in-person interviews, candidate’s industry experience, community involvement, client retention data and revenue trends. The theory is, “‘If we’re going to recommend advisors to the public, we have to make sure every advisor is high quality and can provide ‘impact.’ When we meet with an advisor in person or on the telephone we are thinking to ourselves is this someone that can offer impact, and we would recommend to a friend or family member?’” said R.J. Shook, president of SHOOK Research in a contributor post on Forbes.

Jim, managing Principal of Withum Wealth Management and Principal of Withum’s sub-investment advisor Pinnacle Associates, is one of the standout wealth advisors ranked from New Jersey. With over 30 years of financial experience, Jim holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations. As an investment advisor, Jim helps clients understand and manage investments as they enter new stages of life, such as a business transition, retirement planning, divorce, death of spouse and inheritance. In addition to his position at Withum Wealth Management, Jim is an Executive Vice President and Board Member at Pinnacle Associates Ltd., a Withum Wealth co-founder alongside longstanding public accounting and advisory firm WithumSmith+Brown, PC.
