Exciting Happenings at Withum

This is an exciting time at WithumSmith+Brown, PC.  We just merged with two firms adding over 150 people bringing us to over 750 fine and dedicated client service oriented professionals.  We also released our new SOTF (State of the Firm) video introducing our new branding initiative and logo to reflect the changing dynamics in the marketplace, and have greatly expanded our niche services practice areas and expertise.  SoMe---Twitter

The Orlando, FL based Averett Warmus Durkee, P.A. joined us on December 31, 2015 making Withum the largest CPA firm in Orlando.  This places us at the forefront there with healthcare, financial services, real estate, timeshare, construction, technology, and life sciences industries.  On January 1, 2016 the Edison NJ Mironov Group merged bringing a substantial presence in the automotive, healthcare, real estate and professional services industries.  The Mironov Edison office will move into my New Brunswick office in May while our present Orlando office will move into the Averett premises.  I’ve met most of the new Florida Withum’ers at the SOTF meeting Monday where over 90 of them left sunny warm Orlando for our SOTF meeting in NJ.  We already met most of the Mironov people at our December holiday lunch, but greeted them again on Monday.  Some integration of work has already started so it looks like there will be a smooth transition.

At the annual SOTF meeting Bill Hagaman our CEO, Managing Partner presented an update on how we are doing, our progress, our strength in the marketplace and the spaces we are represented in, and the firm metrics and strategic plan.  Awards were also presented to staff reaching anniversary milestones and those who have distinguished themselves in client service, mentorship and innovation.  Bill also shared our growing dominance in many of the niche industries we service.

A capstone of the program is the release of our SOTF video which has become an annual affair.  Over 150 of us were in it.  It, along with our previous videos, is on YouTube, but here is a link so you can view it now.

This is a very exciting time for us and I am grateful I can share it with my readers.  You are also welcome to reach out to me for any services you believe you might need from us, and I will introduce you to the right person here.
