Withum Names Nine New Partners
Adrienne Anderson, Phil Antico, Ray Bastin, Brad Caruso, Nina Chmura, Mark Deters, Pete Lubcker, Donna Nevolo, and Jarrod Rhen join the firm’s growing corporate leadership team and have a combined 150+ years’ accounting and audit experience. New partner bios can be viewed here.

- Adrienne Anderson, based in the firm’s Orlando office and a resident of Parkland, FL, specializes in accounting, auditing, attest and review services with a focus on manufacturing/distribution/logistics and technology companies as well as government contractors. A CPA in the states of Florida and Illinois, she earned her bachelor’s in accounting from Eastern Illinois University. She is actively involved with the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches and the March of Dimes, on behalf of whom she serves as a Logistics Committee member.
- Phil Antico is based in Withum’s New York City office, where he specializes in audit, accounting and tax services as a member of the firm’s Financial Services Group. A 16-year industry veteran, the Morris Plains, NJ, resident serves clients in both the private and public sectors, including broker-dealers, private equity groups, hedge funds, manufacturing/distribution entities, SEC companies and other commercial businesses. A graduate of St. John’s University with a B.S. and M.S. in accounting, he is a CPA in New York and New Jersey, a member of the AICPA and also serves on the NYSSCPA’s Stockbrokerage Committee, where he is on the technical hotline team.
- Ray Bastin, who is based in the firm’s Orlando office and resides in the same city, is a CPA with experience as an auditor and business advisor to clients spanning several different industries, including the construction, timeshare, not-for-profit and government sectors. He currently holds a leadership position on the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Central Florida’s Business Development Committee. A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in accounting, Bastin is a member of several business and philanthropic organizations, including the AICPA, FICP, Florida Government Finance Officers Association, Spina Bifida Association of Central Florida, Orlando Sports Foundation, Inc. and Better Business Bureau of Central Florida, Inc.
- Brad Caruso is based in Withum’s New Brunswick office and is a resident of Belle Mead, NJ. His areas of specialization include providing audit, tax and advisory services to a variety of business entities, including the not-for-profit sector as well as professional services and technology companies. In addition, he oversees use of the Firm’s data analytics and Withum Audit Intelligence technologies as they relate to client services. A graduate of The College of New Jersey with a B.S. in accounting, he is a member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, AICPA, NJCPA and serves as chairman of Coming Home of Middlesex County, Inc.
- Nina Chmura, who is based in Withum’s New Brunswick office and a resident of West Allenhurst, NJ, has over 14 years’ accounting and auditing experience with a focus on the real estate, not-for-profit and consumer products industries. In addition, she is involved in Withum’s internal training and development initiatives. Active in both the AICPA and NJCPA, Chmura is a graduate of the AICPA’s leadership academy and earned a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Boston University. She also is a member of the New Jersey Chapter of CoreNet Global, a professional real estate association where she serves on the board of directors, and the Wanamassa PTA.
- Mark Deters, a member of the Financial Services Group based in the firm’s Whippany office and a resident of Sparta, NJ, has specialized knowledge of Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) and IPOs in addition to security transactions, investment banking, complex equity transactions and stock-based compensation. Deters has been instrumental in helping the firm’s financial services practice elevate its standing on a short list of acceptable accounting firms with the most prominent investment banking firms in the SPAC IPO market. He is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a M.S. in accounting and a B.A. in business administration and management from Lycoming College. He is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and NJCPA.
- Pete Lubcker specializes in audit services as a member of the Financial Services Group based in Withum’s New York City office. A resident of West Hurley, NY, and a graduate of Binghamton University with a B.S. in accounting, he possesses more than 24 years’ experience providing accounting, tax and consulting services to a diversified group of clients in the private and public sectors. These include alternative investment funds, broker-dealers and management companies. In addition to his client responsibilities, Lubcker has been actively involved in developing best practices in the alternative investment industry as well as in-house training programs. He is a member of the AICPA, NJCPA and NYSSCPA, where he is an active member of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee. He is a CPA in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
- Donna Nevolo, who is based in the firm’s Whippany office, has over 15 years of experience providing accounting and auditing services ranging from tax-compliance and business advisory services to preparation of corporate, partnership and individual tax returns. A resident of Neshanic Station, NJ, and a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University with a B.S. in accounting, she is a member of Withum’s Financial Services Group, where she serves hedge fund and broker-dealer clients, as well as the Employee Benefit Services Group, where she handles defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, VEBA plans, and 403(b) plans. Nevolo also is familiar with large, publicly held multi-national companies and other commercial businesses. She is a CPA in New Jersey and Connecticut and a member of the AICPA, NJCPA and NYSSCPA, where she is a member of the Stockbrokerage Committee.
- Jarrod Rhen, based in Withum’s Princeton office and a resident of Croydon, PA, is widely acknowledged as an industry leader known for his ability to advise on complex financial transactions, particularly in the area of derivative transactions, application of revenue recognition standards, business combinations and asset impairments. With over 12 years’ professional accounting, audit and management consulting experience, he provides services on behalf of a wide range of clients in the life sciences and technology industries. He is a CPA in the state of Pennsylvania and a graduate of Millersville University with a B.S. degree in accounting and finance. He is a member of the AICPA and NJCPA as well as select industry associations, including the New Jersey Technology Council, Association for Corporate Growth–Philadelphia, Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies and BioNJ.
