Withum is proud to share that Great Place to Work has named the Firm as one of this year’s Fortune Best Workplaces for Parents.
Great Place to Work® has been surveying employees internationally for more than three decades, asking questions about every facet of their working environment. In 2024 more than 1.3 million people responded to those surveys, nearly half of them parents. Withum is one of the companies recognized on this list for leading the way in creating great work experiences for its team members with children.
Ranking at number 59 for 2024, Great Place to Work® recognized Withum for its generous benefits to parents and caregivers, particularly the childcare reimbursement program. This unique program helps reduce the burden of childcare costs and summer camp by reimbursing team members up to 25% of eligible childcare provider expenses.
Withum also established the Parents Network Team Member Resource Group, which offers parents and caregivers resources to enhance the quality of work-life integration at the Firm through support, connection and development. The Firm also provides team members with Back-up Care resources should they need last-minute care assistance.
In 2024, Withum was also recognized by Most Loved Workplace as one of the Top Most Loved Workplaces for Parents and Caregivers for championing support for working parents and caregivers by committing to creating a workplace culture where team members with families not only feel respected and valued, but can thrive and achieve a healthy work-life balance.
These acknowledgments come as the accounting profession is seeing a shortage of new professionals entering the field. As firms look for innovative ways to eliminate barriers to entry for students seeking a career in accounting, they are also competing for talent in how they can provide work-life balance. Withum has always been a people-first culture. The Firm’s benefits and programs allow team members to balance their professional careers and personal lives with greater ease. This award is indicative of Withum’s commitment to its team members, as well as a commitment to creating an environment that supports the multi-faceted lives of those team members.
This year’s Best Workplaces for Parents™ set a shining example of how companies can support working parents in a way that fosters trust, purpose and a positive employee experience for all. Almost half a million working parents weighed in on what matters most in the workplace and factors such as work-life balance, paid parental leave and benefits play a huge role in keeping them engaged at work.
