Withum is proud to share that Ed O’Connell, Partner and Lead of Withum’s International Financial Reporting and Multi-National Organizations Practice, has been named President-Elect of NJCPA for the 2022-2023 year.
Ed has over 25 years of experience in the industry, with an extensive background in business advisory, audit, financial reporting and complex accounting. He has numerous certifications in International Financial Reporting and provides innovative accounting and auditing solutions for private and public companies with a concentration in the technology and life sciences industries. He is a longtime member of the NJCPA, in addition to his memberships with the AICPA, NYSSCPA and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Active in the community, Ed is an executive board member of the Global Lyme Alliance, and a member of the Board of Advisors of TechUnited New Jersey. He is also a former board of directors member of Junior Achievement and Big Brothers and Big Sisters. In 2008, local business publication NJBIZ named him on their annual “Forty Under 40 List” to recognize his professional achievements in the accounting industry.
Ed joins a list of accomplished professionals named to the NJCPA Board of Trustees.
