Steve is a partner that focuses primarily on tax planning, business consulting, and tax compliance services.
Steve serves a diverse group of business clients, in a variety of industries, including real estate leasing and development, law firms, restaurants, vineyards, retail, and manufacturing. His non-business clients include high net worth individuals and their families, trusts, attorneys, investment advisers, physicians, other professionals, and related tax planning vehicles. Steve represents businesses, trusts, and individuals before the Internal Revenue Service, and also offers consultations on stock option planning, fiduciary accounting, charitable and family gifting, and retirement plans. Prior to joining the Firm, Steve was of the firm OUM, which joined with Withum in July 2021.
Steve is a frequent presenter on passive activity loss limitations, Section 529 and stock option planning.

Steve created and runs a small non-profit organization called Cookies for a Cause, which bakes cookies for nonprofit organizations as well as for the volunteers who are serving their purpose. The organization’s goal is to “grease the wheels of philanthropy” by making the volunteer process just a bit easier. In the last few years, Steve has been the public address announcer for varsity boys basketball and volleyball games at Pacific Ridge School.
