Michael Portee is a principal on the Firm’s Technical Resources Team, with over 35 years of public accounting experience.
Michael helps clients in the financial services industry navigate complex accounting, financial reporting and regulatory matters. He provides technical guidance and industry-specific insights that support compliance with applicable accounting frameworks while enhancing the quality, accuracy and transparency of financial reporting.
Michael advises private equity and venture capital funds, hedge funds, digital asset funds, broker-dealers and investment advisers. His deep industry knowledge enables him to help clients address technical accounting challenges, respond to evolving regulatory requirements and make informed business decisions with confidence.
He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New Jersey.
