Michael Hurley
Get to Know Me
Mike Hurley is an emeritus partner with more than 40 years of public accounting experience, complemented by four years of industry experience as a controller for a manufacturing company.
Mike specializes in audit and assurance services for manufacturing companies, healthcare organizations, nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans. He also has extensive experience in peer review and quality control, making him a respected resource within the accounting profession.
Throughout his career, Mike has been recognized for his leadership, technical expertise and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of audit quality.
Mike is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in California, an Accredited Speaker through Toastmasters International and enjoys mentoring and developing future leaders. He has also held leadership roles for the AICPA and CalCPA Peer Review Committees.

Mike’s leadership contributions extend beyond client service. He served as Chair of the California Society of CPAs Peer Review Committee and as a member of the AICPA National Peer Review Committee, helping shape professional standards and peer review practices across the profession.
Outside of accounting, Mike has a long history of community involvement through youth athletics.
Mike is an accomplished AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) coach, referee and regional commissioner. He also coached girls’ soccer at Van Nuys High School, leading teams to numerous competitive achievements.
