Lara Waldner is a Team Leader and Audit Lead for the Theatre and Entertainment Team with over 11 years of experience. She is a trusted advisor who helps clients with financial reporting and compliance requirements while staying on top of industry trends and programs.
Her expertise includes providing auditing, accounting and consulting services to commercial theatrical productions and not-for-profit organizations in the theatre and entertainment industry. She is experienced in GAAP-related entertainment accounting issues and is a resource for review and advisory on internal controls and digitalizing of controls.
In addition to being an Audit Lead, Lara is a Lead for the New York office’s Women of Withum Team Member Resource Group and a member of Withum’s Parent’s Network. Her participation in these internal groups demonstrates her dedication to her fellow team members. She is also instrumental in Withum’s strategic planning committee, focusing on client and operations improvements.

Lara is originally from Kentucky and is a proud Kentucky Wildcats fan. She loves sour gummy candy and traveling, especially to Hilton Head Island, and internationally to London. Now a New Yorker, one of Lara’s favorite pastimes is going to the theatre. But most of all, she enjoys spending time with her family.
