Kyle Grunstra has over 15 years of experience in public accounting. He specializes in the financial services industry, focusing on private investment fund clients. Kyle has extensive experience working with hedge funds, private equity and venture capital fund managers. He has become a key member of Withum’s growing digital assets practice in recent years. He is a licensed certified public accountant in New York and New Jersey with an MBA. 

Kyle is dedicated to providing value to clients through audit and advisory services and fostering internal team development through training and mentorship. He plays a significant role as a leader and primary point of contact for the talented team members within the Firm’s India-based offices.

Give Back

Kyle is committed to giving back to both the industry and the Firm. He serves as a formal and informal mentor to team members, actively supporting their growth through mentorship and training. Kyle has led internal Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses for nearly a decade on various topics, ranging from basic auditing procedures for funds to the latest developments in the digital asset space.  He was part of Withum’s inaugural group for U.S.-India rotations and has played a key role in the continued growth of the Firm’s audit team based in India. Additionally, Kyle was nominated for the Withum Strength Award in 2023 and 2024, recognizing his contributions to improving best practices within the financial services audit team.  

Work Hard/Play Hard

Outside of work, you can catch Kyle on the golf course or volleyball court, staying active whenever possible. He enjoys relaxing and spending time with family and friends in his downtime.
