Kerra Diener is a tax partner with over 17 years of experience. She helps clients achieve their financial goals by optimizing their tax positions while ensuring compliance with tax laws.
She consults on a variety of tax topics for businesses and individuals, including state income tax nexus, research and expenditures, 704(b) capital account maintenance, federal and state tax credits and like-kind exchanges. Kerra also has experience in insolvency tax and planning for debt restructuring, reorganizations, and liquidations, in addition to state tax examinations and residency audits.

Kerra has a passion for volunteerism and giving back. Kerra previously participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Executive Challenge, and her team raised almost $130k. She also previously volunteered for Girl Scouts of America and was the official scorekeeper for the West Ranch High School Softball team in Santa Clarita. Most recently, Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) named Kerra to the Leaders of Influence: Women in Accounting list for 2023. She was also included on LABJ’s Top 100 Accountants list for 2023.
When she’s not at the office, Kerra spends her time with her family, including her three children. They enjoy spending time outdoors and partaking in activities like hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding, softball and volleyball. Her hidden talent is baking macarons.
