Kathie Barrett has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. She specializes in serving government and not-for-profit entities. 

Kathie is a sought-after speaker, having presented at various professional seminars and been a guest speaker at the Association of School Business Officials, New York School Boards Association, Monroe County School Boards Association, The New York State Society of CPAs, local school districts, and BOCES on various topics impacting school districts. 

Kathie is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in New York.

Give Back

Kathie is committed to developing the next generation of accountants and business advisors as a long-time member of Junior Achievement of Western New York. She is involved with training and mentoring staff and conducting formal internal and external training on auditing and accounting topics. Kathie is also a previous Chairperson at the NYSSCPA’s Public School Accounting Committee and has been a member of the organization since 2001. She is also a past Chairperson of the Genesee and Wyoming County Business Education Alliances and has been a member of the organization since 2014.
