Partner In Charge
Richard J. Wright Jr., CPARich Wright is the partner-in-charge of the Firm’s Buffalo, Rochester and Batavia offices. He has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting and expertise in tax planning. He has worked with closely held businesses, particularly with Subchapter S corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies (LLCs), as well as high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and professional athletes with their personal tax planning and compliance needs.
Rich has significant experience assisting companies with tax advisory services pertaining to structuring and M&A activity. Rich has assisted manufacturing, technology and software companies regionally and nationally to successfully reduce their tax liabilities by uncovering eligible R&D credits.
Rich has a wealth of knowledge and business acumen, having previously served as the Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of a large regional firm. He was responsible for developing and executing the firm’s growth, technology and human capital strategies, overseeing the Firm’s Human Resources department, and serving on the Executive Committee.
Rich is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in New York.
