David Katz is a Quality Control partner with more than 19 years of experience in public accounting. He serves as an advanced technical leader and resource for clients and for the Firm.
He often consults on challenging and complex matters associated with financial reporting and disclosures, equity transactions, business combinations, and revenue recognition, among others.
His deep knowledge of the business makes him an integral part of Withum’s Accounting and Audit Service Line Committee, dedicated to ensuring all team members have the tools and education to provide world-class service.
David is a leader in all aspects of the delivery of audit and audit-related services to public and private companies in various industries, including Professional Services, Financial Services, Technology, Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Distribution and employee benefit plans. He is a licensed CPA in New Jersey and New York and has continued experience interpreting and applying technical accounting and auditing standards.

David is an active member of the NJCPA Career Awareness Program. He is a presenter to high school students to raise awareness about the accounting profession. He is also a youth coach of various sports.
David’s hobbies include spending time with his family, traveling, and playing basketball, softball and golf.
