Dan Baillie, CPA, is a Principal at Withum’s San Diego office. With over 25 years of experience in public accounting, he has worked extensively with organizations across a wide range of industries, sizes and complexities, including publicly traded companies, employee benefit plans and labor unions.  

Dan currently manages audit, review and compilation engagements in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). While his background spans a variety of industries, his primary focus lies in auditing multi-employer benefit plans, pension plans, health and welfare plans and labor unions.

Dan is a hands-on, client-focused professional dedicated to delivering exceptional service and outcomes. Known for his approachable demeanor and responsiveness, he builds strong relationships by understanding and addressing client needs with care and efficiency. As a seasoned auditor, Dan actively mentors and trains emerging professionals, fostering growth and excellence within his team.
