Conor Barnes has over 15 years of experience in public accounting. She is the Team Co-Leader of the Music Industry Services Team and leads the Theatre and Entertainment Services Team in the Firm’s Nashville office.
Conor specializes in tax compliance and strategic tax planning services for entertainers and business managers. She helps musicians with multi-state tours maximize available tax credits and compliance in all states and municipalities. Her experience in the entertainment industry also extends to assisting with catalog sales for artists and consulting on various outside ventures for entertainers. Conor is a licensed certified public accountant in New York and New Jersey.

Conor leads Withum’s Tax Fellowship Training program, mentoring and empowering emerging team members. Additionally, Conor serves on the Strategic Advisory Partner Committee of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization of New Jersey and is an active member of the Country Music Association.
Before pursuing accounting, Conor applied her political science degree in science education, which included managing paleontology field expeditions in Montana. Conor enjoys swimming, running, reading and cooking in her spare time.
