Get to Know Me

Chris Millias is a partner with over 35 years of experience providing audit, accounting, and business advisory services to both public and privately-held clients in real estate, technology, private equity funds/investment partnerships/financial advisors, consumer products, manufacturing distribution, and life sciences as well as other industries including medical device, leasing, professional services and wineries. He also works with a number of private companies that are in the process of raising capital and going public, advising on due diligence, mergers acquisitions, and continuity plans. Prior to joining the Firm, Chris was of the firm OUM, which joined with Withum in July 2021.

He is a frequent presenter on real estate companies, business combinations, purchase price allocations, fair value accounting, audits of investment partnerships, inventory valuations and accounting for goodwill impairment.

Chris is the first-born son of Greek emigrant parents and grew up in an amazing “Big Fat Greek Family” with all its traditions and events, including: food, wine, singing, dancing, and always laughter. This foundation translated into his first priority as an adult – sharing life’s amazing experiences with his wife, daughters and extended family.

Physical activity is one of Chris’ passions and he believes that “Body in Motion” can solve most of your problems! Chris spends as much time as he can outdoors, hiking all of Marin’s great mountain trails with his wife, jumping on his bike, swinging the clubs and exercising at the club. To relax, its gardening, reading, writing, yoga, Tai Chi, and listening to all types of music. Live performances are a favorite pastime, with annual treks to the JazzFest in New Orleans and the Shakespeare festival in Ashland.
