Brad Weisert has over 25 years of experience providing tax planning and compliance services to businesses in the fields of technology, life sciences, hedge funds, manufacturing and distribution, private equity, and real estate.
He has expertise in tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and multi-state and international tax issues. Brad is an emeritus partner in the firm’s FASB ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109 Income Tax Accounting) services line. He is well versed in tax efficiencies related to domestic and international expansion efforts.
Brad is a frequent presenter on accounting for income tax, entity choice for start-up and growing businesses, taxation of corporation and partnerships, tax optimization in structuring business acquisitions.

Brad enjoys riding bikes with friends in Marin County and the group does an annual four-day “Coast Ride”. He is also a parent volunteer for the mountain biking team at Tamalpais High School, helping the kids train and race in NICA competitions.
Growing up in Southern California, Brad is a lifelong surfer and has surfed in Australia, Hawaii, Tahiti and France. He now surfs regularly with his kids at Stinson, Bolinas and Ocean Beach.
