Russell Goldberg is the Partner-in-Charge of the Firm’s Orlando and Boca Raton offices. Forbes recognized him for his leadership positions and community initiatives within the Firm and the Sunshine State.
Russell has more than 35 years of experience specializing in taxation with his technical expertise in individual and corporate taxation, partnership and tax controversies. As a driving force behind the Firm’s technology and recruitment initiatives, Russell is a steadfast leader in nurturing the next generation of accountants and empowering students through education, as seen through the Firm’s local involvement with the University of Central Florida.
He is deeply committed to community service, serving as a board member at the Jewish Pavilion of Central Florida. Additionally, Russell is a member of the HLB Tax Technology Group and Thomson Reuters AI Coalition to further support and shape technology initiatives in the industry.
Russell was recently recognized on the South Florida Business Journal’s 2025 Power Leaders List and inducted into the University of Central Florida College of Business Hall of Fame.
Ed O’Connell, Audit Partner at Withum, was recognized by Forbes for his professional and philanthropic leadership.
With over 30 years of experience in the profession and an extensive background in business advisory, audit, financial reporting and complex accounting, he has been a vital resource for the Firm’s many growing practice areas. As former Lead of Withum’s International Financial Reporting and Multi-National Organizations Practice, Ed has been a cornerstone in delivering innovative accounting and advisory solutions to his clients, while also serving as a strategic guide and expert resource for his team.
He is deeply committed to fostering the growth of emerging professionals through mentorship and development initiatives, while also playing an active and influential role in strengthening his community. He currently serves on boards for the Global Lyme Alliance, Tech United and Rider University.
Ed was the former President of the NJCPA in 2023-2024 and was recognized in his home state of New Jersey in NJBIZ’s Accounting Power 50 list and Forty Under 40 list, as well as ROI-NJ’s Influencers Power List.
