The BBJ’s Business of Pride Awards celebrate organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion. In its 9th year, this annual recognition program has become a cornerstone event honoring LGBTQ+ excellence within the Greater Boston business community and highlighting corporate leaders in inclusion and impact.
This year, Withum joins an elite group of honored companies, including Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Cambridge Savings Bank.

Withum’s Key Initiatives as a Corporate Ally
- Investment in programs and initiatives that benefit the local LGBTQIA+ community, such as Out4Undergrad, Out & Equal, Garden State Equality, HiTOPs Trans Youth Forum, LGBTQ + VC, StartOut and many others.
- Comprehensive and inclusive benefits packages that support LGBTQ+ team members and their families.
- Implementation of inclusion training programs to raise awareness, promote understanding and combat bias.
- Public advocacy and support of LGBTQ+ organizations through volunteer work, fundraising and partnerships. The Firm has collaborated with organizations including Ali Forney Center, Out for Undergard, PFlag, The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and HiTOPs – many of these relationships span over a decade, with a continued commitment to seeking new organizations.

At Withum, inclusivity is a central aspect of its people-first, values-driven culture, supported by the work and partnerships of Team Member Resource Groups (TMRGs)–an integral part of team member engagement. The Firm has established several TRMGs that provide advocacy, allyship and mentorship.
The PRIDE TMRG focuses on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, aiming to create a collaborative, brave space where individuals can be their authentic selves. This group encourages support and connection among team members by raising awareness and promoting dialogue. Formally established in 2020, the Pride TMRG currently has 82 members.
Withum ranked a 95 on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, recognizing the Firm as one of the best workplaces for LGBTQIA+ professionals.
This honor from the BBJ underscores Withum’s broader commitment to promoting an inclusive workplace across the entire organization. Withum was formally recognized at the Boston Business Journal’s Business of Pride awards ceremony on May 28, 2025 at Boston Chops in Boston’s South End.
