Withum Comes Together for Annual Culture Video

Withum, leading advisory and accounting firm, held its annual State of the Firm event on January 11, albeit virtually. The Firm also unveiled their annual culture video with a fitting message for the times – Stay Connected

This latest edition highlights Withum team members continuing to embrace the family spirit despite remote working environments due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, virtually connecting from home by way of a Withum-branded stress ball being passed from scene to scene.

“This year’s culture video concept was presented to me by Withum Marketing Managers Ashton Abby and Matt Basilo, who were inspired by popular TikTok videos. The 60 team members who submitted videos came through in a big way, demonstrating great fun and creativity. We worked with Greg Papalcure of Hologram Visuals, who was on point with the editing. Of our eleven culture videos, this one is my new favorite!”

The State of the Firm, which kicks off with the culture video, recaps Withum’s year, shares future projections, introduces new Firm initiatives and announces the winners of the annual Withum Strength Awards. Historically, this event is attended in-person at venues such as the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ, which can accommodate 1200+ attendees. This year, the event was held virtually, streaming live from the New Jersey Society of CPAs studio in their Roseland, NJ, office. Team members from across the U.S. and the globe logged on from their home workspaces to participate in the virtual event.

“It was a coordinated effort by our entire Marketing team to pull off a virtual event that felt just as cohesive as past live events, but in a new way. We are grateful to the support team at NJSCPA, Marc Rein and Rachael Bell, as well as Executive Director Ralph Thomas, for allowing access to their top-notch facilities.”

“We were built for this, but we certainly didn’t expect this. Our team transitioned to remote work environments seamlessly because we had the right technology and IT support in place. However, we continually remind ourselves to never lose sight of what is most important: our people, who are our most valuable resource. This video truly reflects the Withum Way spirit that continues to thrive.”
