AICPA Employee Benefit Plans Leadership

Withum is proud to share that Nadia Matthie, CPA, Partner, has been appointed as Chair of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant’s (AICPA’s) Employee Benefit Plans Expert Panel.

The AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plans Expert Panel was formed to protect the public interest and agree on key plan issues by leveraging the knowledge of leaders in the employee benefit plan industry. Nadia’s deep expertise makes her a valuable asset to help further the panel’s mission as Chair of the group.

Nadia has more than 25 years of experience in the profession, serving  single-employer benefit plans, multiemployer benefit plans  and  labor unions. She specializes in various types of benefit plans, including defined contribution plans and benefit plans, ESOPs, health and welfare plans and other assurance services. 

Nadia is dedicated to advancing the profession and is active in several organizations that strive for excellence and the future of accounting. In addition to her involvement with the AICPA, Nadia is an active member of the New York Society of CPAs (NYSCPA), where she serves as fundraising chairperson for the Moynihan Scholarship Fund. Additionally, Nadia is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants—New York Chapter.
