Withum is proud to announce that Kirk Holderbaum, Partner and Chief Growth Officer, has been recognized by NJBIZ as a 2025 ICON. His leadership within the Firm and long-time client relationships have created a legacy of stewardship within the greater NJ business community.
With over 30 years of experience in business advisory and public accounting, Kirk has been a driving force behind Withum’s growth and success. His leadership on Withum’s Board of Directors and the Firm’s strategic Vision 2028 committee has positively impacted the Firm’s evolution and team member growth and development.
As the Firm’s Chief Growth Officer, he has been instrumental in setting the strategic direction for more than 20 industry segments and service lines. His leadership of the marketing and business development teams has shown remarkable success in achieving annual growth through marketing, advertising, proposal writing and sales initiatives.
Kirk’s impact also extended beyond client service. He has been a mentor to countless team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth. His open-door policy has made him a go-to resource for team members seeking guidance and career development. Several leaders within Withum, including our Chief Operating Officer and Chief Talent Officer, have flourished under Kirk’s mentorship.
Kirk is also deeply committed to supporting those in the community. He is actively involved with nonprofits and philanthropic endeavors, specifically those tied to his alma mater Rutgers University. As a trustee and treasurer for the Scarlet Knights Wrestling Club and a member of the Rutgers University Accounting Advisory Board, Kirk has made significant contributions. He also ran the Branchburg Youth Wrestling Program and assisted Somerville High School in raising funds for its football, wrestling and baseball programs. He has also served as a board member of Junior Achievement of New Jersey’s North District, empowering young people to achieve economic success.
In January of 2025, Kirk received the prestigious Withum Way Strength Award, recognizing his exceptional leadership and ability to develop strong client relationships. This award embodies the true spirit and core values of Withum and is given only to those who have created an immense impact within the Firm.
