Kevin D Holmes, a partner in Withum’s Los Angeles office, specializes in audit, business advisory and internal controls consulting. He has three decades of experience serving private and public companies in various industries as well as not-for-profit entities. His clients in the entertainment industry include global artists, business management firms, and both established and growing companies nationwide.

Kevin helped create a niche advisory practice focused on conducting risk and fraud-based internal control assessments and audits of business management firms. By optimizing these internal controls, Kevin creates opportunities for these firms to better protect their clients and enhance their operational efficiency. While working with clients of business management firms, he has identified instances of fraud, underreported royalties and deficiencies in internal controls that could result in fraudulent activities. By addressing all sides of business management, he creates stability for this important network.

Beyond his contributions to client service, Kevin has demonstrated significant leadership in nurturing the next generation of accounting and advisory professionals. He ensures that his teams offer the benefits of working for a local practice while also enjoying the advantages of a national firm. Many of his mentees have received multiple promotions under his guidance.

In addition to his dedication to the advisory industry, Kevin is an exemplary role model who actively gives back to the local community. He serves on the boards of several local organizations, including the College of the Canyons Foundation, the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Santa Clarita Valley College District Citizen’s Oversight Committee and the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Pediatric Cancer.

The Business of Entertainment Visionaries Awards highlight professionals in the entertainment industry who provide financing for projects and transactions, as well as those who offer advisory services to entertainment industry firms and executives. The L.A. Times honored its Business of Entertainment Visionaries in its June 17, 2025, edition.
