Karen Kowgios and Nadia-Maria Matthie Named 2019 Notable Women in Accounting & Consulting
Karen Kowgios, CPA, Partner, Practice Leader of Withum’s Theatre, Entertainment and the Arts team and Nadia-Maria Matthie, CPA, Partner, Team Member of Withum’s Benefit Plan Practice, Labor Organizations Practice and Multiemployer Group have been named in Crain’s Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting.
Crain’s recently announced this year’s list of 77 women in accounting and consulting that have greatly impacted their clients and industries. Internal research and nominations by major firms in the metro area selected the honorees based on their accomplishments within their careers, mentorship and community and nonprofit involvement.

Karen is a partner with more than 30 years of experience in the accounting profession. She serves a variety of industries, including theatre, entertainment and the arts, not-for-profit organizations and media and publications. Karen works closely with management and the Boards of the organizations to ensure compliance with all required disclosures and regulations. She is a Practice Leader of the Theatre, Entertainment and the Arts team.
Nadia-Maria is a partner with more than 20 years of experience in the accounting profession. She is a member of the employee benefit plan practice, labor organizations practice, and multiemployer group at Withum where she performs assurance services for single-employer and multiemployer organizations.
