Susan Watkins is a principal on Withum’s Healthcare Services Team with nearly 30 years of experience helping healthcare and human services organizations improve financial and operational performance.
She specializes in healthcare transformation, process improvement, change management, project management and strategic planning, with extensive experience in primary and specialty care, ancillary services, back-office operations, workforce optimization and patient flow initiatives. As a trusted advisor, Susan leads organizations through complex operational transformations and process redesign efforts to achieve sustainable results.
Within the Firm, she serves as a Workday Champion, supporting user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
Susan is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB).

Susan is committed to strengthening both her professional and local communities. She serves as secretary of the Western New York Mountain Bicycling Association and as planning committee co-chair for the Rooted Women’s Mountain Bike Festival, helping promote trail stewardship and expand access to the sport.
She also shares her healthcare transformation and operational improvement expertise through industry speaking engagements.
Susan enjoys mountain biking and supporting trail advocacy initiatives. A proud Western New Yorker, she can often be found cheering on her hometown teams, the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.
