Robin Kim is a Managing Director at Withum Capital, where he leads and oversees the Firm’s investment banking practice.
With over 20 years of professional experience, he serves as a trusted advisor to middle-market companies, founders, boards and investors on mergers and acquisitions and other complex strategic matters.
He advises clients on strategic and financial transactions, drawing on experience spanning engagements representing over $30 billion in aggregate value across domestic and cross-border mandates. His transaction experience includes mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, corporate carve‑outs, recapitalizations, restructurings and debt and equity financings, as well as select IPO and SPAC-related transactions. He has worked across a broad range of industries, with notable experience in consumer, active lifestyle, food and beverage, pet and tech‑enabled services.
Robin’s background includes investment banking roles at Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps), Rothschild & Co and Robert W. Baird & Co., where he advised privately held, sponsor-backed and publicly traded companies on a wide range of strategic and capital markets transactions. He has also held roles in principal investing, asset management and corporate development, including experience supporting acquisition strategy and execution within a growth-equity backed platform company. These experiences provide a broad investor and operator perspective that informs his approach to client advisory.
