Robin Kim is the Principal and Lead of Investment Banking at Withum, where he leads the Firm’s investment banking practice and drives its strategic growth.

With over 20 years of professional experience, he serves as a trusted advisor to middle-market companies, founders, boards and investors on mergers and acquisitions and other complex strategic matters.

He helps clients execute high‑stakes strategic and financial transactions. His experience spans advisory on engagements representing over $30 billion in aggregate value across domestic and cross-border mandates, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, carve‑outs, recapitalizations, restructurings, debt and equity financing and select IPO and SPAC-related transactions. He has worked with a broad range of industries, with deep industry expertise in consumer, active lifestyle, food and beverage, technology, tech‑enabled services and healthcare‑adjacent sectors, including animal health.

Robin has a diverse financial background shaped by investment banking, principal investing, asset management and corporate development roles. He has served in senior advisory and execution capacities on acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic alternatives, and has buy-side M&A experience, having worked with growth equity investors. His experience also includes asset management at a global macro hedge fund and corporate development at a multinational consumer products company—perspectives that inform his strategic, investor‑oriented approach to client advisory.
