Get to Know Me

Robert is located in the Firm’s New York office. With over 30 years of experience, Robert provides accounting services to hundreds of theatrical productions, both in the United States and abroad. He currently represents some of the most prominent and successful Broadway shows and also provides cross border planning to both domestic and foreign producers for theatrical productions and licensing.  In addition to working within the commercial theatre industry, Robert has experience providing accounting services to numerous not-for-profit performing and presenting arts organizations.

Along with the League, he is currently involved in, and has been successful in lobbying the US Congress for tax law changes that impact the commercial theatre industry. Robert is an adjunct professor for Columbia University in their MFA program teaching theatrical accounting. Robert is a frequent speaker on tax planning issues for performing arts and other entertainment organizations. He serves as a trustee of Theatre Development Fund where he is Chairman of the Finance Committee.  He is also a trustee of the Rogosin Institute, a prominent health care organization affiliated with the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital system.
