Lejdi has over 15 years of state and local tax experience with focus on indirect taxes, specifically sales and use tax. She has extensive knowledge of state and local tax issues including, but not limited to the following: nexus review, taxability review, audit representation, participation in voluntary disclosure registration, sales and use tax compliance, tax planning, create reports to satisfy our clients’ sales tax compliance process, due diligence review, and implementation and review of the sales tax code.
Lejdi has vast experience of working with technology companies analyzing their revenue streams, providing taxability reviews and tax memorandums. Over her career, she has been very successful in seeking advisory opinion requests on client's behalf for technical sales tax matters.
Her client portfolio ranges from start-ups to well established Fortune 500 companies. She prides herself on understanding her client's products and service offerings to ensure she is offering the best applicable sales tax guidance.
Prior to working at Withum, Lejdi worked within the Big 4 and a Fortune 500 organization. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from Pierce College and received her MBA from Rowan University.
Lejdi is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation as well as a part of the HLB State and Local Tax Committee. She is active with the Firm’s Women in Withum committee as well as other Women Empowerment programs.
