Laurie Allen has nearly 30 years of experience in financial investigations, data analysis and corporate due diligence spanning healthcare, financial services, life sciences, cannabis and professional services companies. As part of the Investigative and Corporate Intelligence Services Team, she offers knowledge in complex financial investigations, asset investigations, witness interviews, background checks for new hires, trial preparation and due diligence investigations for new partnerships.

Before joining Withum, Laurie served as a Special Agent and Supervisor with the FBI, leading complex investigations into white-collar crimes such as healthcare, securities, bank and corporate fraud. As a Health Care Program Manager, she developed a nationally recognized program ranked in the top 1% across the Bureau. Her expertise in securities matters led to her appointment as a Public Mediator for FINRA. Laurie is a Certified Financial Examiner (CFE) and was named Investigator of the Year by the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Foundation. As a former attorney, Laurie is able to deliver confidential, high-quality results tailored to each client’s needs.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Laurie brings discipline, integrity, and a mission-focused mindset to every engagement. Clients rely on her to uncover critical insights, mitigate risk, and deliver actionable intelligence with discretion and professionalism.

Give Back

Laurie believes in giving back to the community and eager minds looking to build a career in forensics. She is a volunteer docent at Turtleback Zoo and an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at Monmouth University. She is also a past board member of Senior Medicare Patrol.

Laurie leads an active lifestyle by finding time to cycle, golf and swim. When on vacation, she prefers trips that keep her active and are full of adventure.
