Withum’s Chicago office has a long history of volunteering for, participating in, donating to and supporting a wide variety of charitable programs, many of which are geared toward children. Our team gives back by serving meals for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children’s through the Meals from the Heart program, handpacking specially formulated meals to be sent to undernourished children around the world as part of Feed My Starving Children and donating to the Culver’s Foundation Scholarship Program. We also help raise money for local Chicago area schools through the Key to 73 Foundation, create custom holiday-themed food baskets for financially stressed families as part of Vernon Township’s Sponsor a Family for Thanksgiving program and participate in the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots. Giving back to the communities in which we live and work is a key pillar of the Withum Way.

Steven Edelheit, CPA, CVAAs a partner-in-charge of Withum’s Chicago, IL, office, Steve has more than 25 years of experience providing professional consulting and accounting services to small and mid-sized businesses nationwide. With an enthusiastic and dedicated nature, Steve genuinely enjoys getting to know his clients and takes the time to learn their personal preferences, communication styles and temperament. By developing strong client relationships, he is able to act as their trusted advisor, helping them make smart business decisions.
As a certified public accountant and an active member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), Steve’s expertise includes compilations, reviews, business valuations, buy-sell agreements, purchase/sale of a business, business consulting, succession planning, management advisory services and accounting systems design and implementation. He also has experience with representation before the IRS and other governmental agencies.
