The Reality of the DOL Cybersecurity Best Practice Guidance
Join us for a discussion on the Department of Labor's cybersecurity guidance, what it means for ERISA plan fiduciaries and the steps organizations can take to protect plan and participant data.
Event Details
The Department of Labor issued guidance on cybersecurity for all ERISA plans in 2021 and updated this in September 2025. Many plans have not taken the appropriate steps to implement this guidance.
The reality is that cybersecurity is now a fiduciary responsibility for trustees and plan sponsors. This webinar is designed not only for those who have yet to begin their cybersecurity journey, but also for those who are well on their way in implementing the Cybersecurity Best Practices. Attendees will understand what steps they can take to protect participant data and where they are required to seek external assistance.
