Patrick Augustyn is a principal on the Firm’s Tax Services Team with more than 15 years of experience advising clients on complex international tax matters.
He provides strategic guidance on tax structuring, transaction planning, tax due diligence, modeling the implications of tax reform and the tax-efficient design of global operations, including U.S. tax considerations.
Patrick leads large-scale international tax compliance engagements for clients across the real estate, construction and financial services sectors, including private equity firms, real estate and infrastructure funds and their portfolio companies. His experience also extends to consumer businesses, shipping and cruise line operators and for-profit education organizations.
Working closely with colleagues and advisors around the world, Patrick helps clients navigate local-country tax requirements, compliance obligations and cross-border tax challenges, delivering coordinated solutions that align with their global business objectives.
He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Georgia and Florida.

A former NCAA swimmer, Patrick enjoys staying active and spending time with his two young sons. An avid traveler, he has visited nearly 100 countries and gained international experience while living and working in London for more than two years.
