Joseph Fede
Get to Know Me
Joe Fede is an audit partner on Withum’s Financial Services Team. He provides audit, accounting and advisory services to a diverse client base, including broker-dealers, CFTC-regulated companies, private equity and venture capital funds, investment advisers, public companies, digital asset organizations and other financial services businesses.
Joe specializes in securities transactions, investment banking activities, complex equity structures, stock-based compensation, IPOs, business combinations and SEC reporting and compliance. Throughout his career, he has advised clients on significant capital markets transactions, including SPAC IPOs that raised more than $10 billion, and continues to support clients as they navigate evolving opportunities in the digital asset and fintech sectors.
Joe is actively involved in the evolving digital asset ecosystem, providing audit and advisory services to cryptocurrency investment funds, digital asset broker-dealers and other innovative market participants operating within the blockchain and fintech sectors.

Joe is actively involved in professional and community service. He serves as Vice Chair of the New York State Society of CPAs Stock Brokerage Committee, volunteers with UNICO, a national Italian American service organization and supports his alma mater, William Paterson University, through ongoing volunteer efforts.
Outside of the office, Joe enjoys spending quality time and playing sports with his children.
