Michael Schoell has nearly 15 years of experience in public accounting. He focuses on providing accounting and auditing services to the not-for-profit industry with a specialty in healthcare organizations and higher education institutions.
His expertise lies in serving integrated health systems, federally qualified health centers, institutes of higher education and community-based not-for-profits. Michael’s experience encompasses financial reporting, audits conducted in accordance with Uniform Guidance, grant compliance, public and private debt placements, outsourced CFO and controller positions, and financial due diligence on behalf of both selling and acquiring entities.
Michael is dedicated to helping his clients achieve compliance with regulations, improve the accuracy of financial reporting and enhance operational efficiency. He ensures that reporting practices align with industry standards, helping clients maintain integrity, avoid penalties and deliver confidence through sound documentation and financial reporting.
Michael is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in New York and has a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA).
