Kuber Mehta

Kuber specializes in the fair value measurement and disclosure requirements of ASC 820, with significant experience in the valuation of Level 2 and Level 3 investments. His expertise includes private placements, PIPEs (Private Investments in Public Equity), debt and credit instruments, derivatives and other complex financial instruments. He helps clients navigate challenging valuation issues while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

In addition, Kuber has extensive experience with derivative instruments and hedging disclosures, as well as investment company accounting matters. His industry knowledge includes accounting and reporting considerations related to side pockets, liquidating funds, master-feeder structures and performance and management fee arrangements.

Prior to joining the firm, Kuber was a partner at a Big Four accounting firm, where he played a key role in developing and expanding the Asset Management practice. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Florida, Texas and California.
