Kevin Hengst has been working in accounting for 27 years, servicing clients in energy and oilfield services, hospitality and professional services industries.
He is a licensed CPA and also holds an Advanced Defined Contribution Plans Audit Certificate from the AICPA. With over 21 years of experience specializing in employee benefit plan audits and previous experience as a plan administrator, Kevin offers unique insights to his clients. He maintains a proactive approach, anticipating client questions and concerns rather than simply reacting to inquiries. This ensures effective and efficient communication about engagement issues and findings.
Kevin regularly attends the annual AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Conference, and assists on peer reviews of employee benefit audits, particularly for defined benefit, health and welfare and employee stock ownership plans. His comprehensive expertise and client-first philosophy make him a trusted advisor in this specialized field.
