Hope E. Patterson

Hope Patterson is a senior tax manager and Team Leader of the Theatre and Entertainment Services Team in the Nashville office.
She has over 25 years of diversified public accounting experience as a CPA with a focus on ultra-high net worth individuals, S-corporations, and partnership taxation. Hope specializes in advising entertainers in the music industry and their business managers regarding tax compliance and tax planning.
Her experience in the entertainment and music industry gives her vast knowledge to provide tax expertise to musicians at all stages in their career including large touring artists. This includes advising on how to maximize available tax credits or deductions, entity selection, tax compliance in all states and various municipalities. Her expertise has helped clients solve complex and unique tax issues such as, transactions involving catalog sales, aircraft use and multi-state wage allocations.
Hope has also worked closely with her clients to advise on tax issues involving business sales, audits, voluntary disclosure agreements, film credits and has consulted on various outside ventures for entertainers.
Hope holds her CPA license in Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia.

Hope volunteers at two schools as an active member of the PTA.
Being from Detroit, Hope is an avid Detroit sports fan, despite her move down south. She also supports her alma mater, the University of Kentucky, in basketball. She is a mom to three and loves country music, hockey and traveling.
