Karin Salmeri is a partner with more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in accounting for income tax (ASC 740) and corporate tax compliance and planning for U.S. and multinational businesses.
She serves both privately held and publicly traded companies, with a focus on the industrial and consumer products industry. Karin works closely with clients to navigate the complexities of tax provision, compliance and reporting, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
Within the Firm, Karin serves as an Ambassador and is a member of the Internal Tax Quality Inspection Team, contributing to Withum’s culture and commitment to quality, consistency and professional excellence.
Karin is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New Jersey and is fluent in German.

Karin is originally from Germany and moved to the United States after meeting her husband while playing volleyball, a sport she still enjoys playing today. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, most often you will find her cheering on her children at their sporting events.
