Partners' Network

One Year Anniversary of Partners-Network Blog

One Year Anniversary of Partners-Network Blog

Today is the first anniversary of my blog.  I was going to write about why I do them and their purpose, but I did that on the six month anniversary and think it was expressed well enough.  You can read that blog here.

pdxbeergeeks_birthdayI will say one thing about the name.  Originally, this was to be a blog for CPAs to assist them in managing their practice.  However, my clients’ interests led me to addressing questions they had and I found that the blog became very helpful to them and the CPA firm idea was dropped.  The previous July I started writing a monthly a “Top 5 Questions” piece that CPAs asked me.  This is posted on the NJ Society of CPAs Open Forum for their members.  This sort of became the “blog” I was intending to use the www.Partners-Network.com site for.  Also www.CPATrendlines.com now posts one of the Top 5 Q&As in a slightly edited version weekly and reaches an international audience.

For those interested, the Partners’ Network is a program of WS+B that supports smaller practices in services they are not able to perform and provides practice management guidance.  The PN consists of over 650 CPAs stretching across the United States and as far as Hawaii, with some foreign accountants stretching as far as Australia.  If anyone is interested in receiving the monthly Top 5 Q&As, please request them from me at [email protected].

The editing and posting of the entries in this blog are both handled by Sarah Cirelli, social networking guru at WS+B, with backup from our great marketing team (one of whom is Kristen Celii, who just celebrated her 11th Anniversary with me).  This blog could not exist without them.

Thanks for following the blog and I always appreciate your comments.
